The Clock Tower

One of the great icons of the city and the connection point between the walled city and the lively neighbourhood of Getsemaní, an impressive construction attached to the wall with a large clock and a yellow tower. Just beyond the gate of the tower we find the beautiful Plaza de Los Coches, filling the space with flavour with the Portal de Los Dulces, where you can enjoy all the typical flavours of the region.

Getsemaní neighbourhood

Very close to the city walls you will find an authentic version of Cartagena de Indias. The colourful low houses are mixed with murals of incredible quality and small art shops. A real open-air museum.

San Felipe Castle

A few minutes from the city centre, you can find another of the most emblematic places to visit in Cartagena de Indias. On the Cerro de San Lázaro hill is the Castillo de San Felipe, which together with the Historic Centre has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
